Egypt’s Head Coach, Carlos Queiroz Faces Sack
Egyptian Football Association – EFA president, Ahmed Megahed has revealed that national team coach, Carlos Queiroz will be sacked before the end of his contract if he does not satisfy a certain condition.

Nine games into his tenure as Egypt manager, Portugese coach Queiroz faces the risk of losing his job if the Pharoahs fail to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. The seven-time African champions are among the 10 African teams that advanced from the group stage of qualification to the play-off round for the World Cup.
Five spots are up for grabs for African nations at the showpiece, with the play-off draw set to be conducted on 26 January 2022. The draw had initially been scheduled for 18 December, but following a CAF Extraordinary Assembly, it was decided that it should be pushed back to January next year.
Meanwhile, Queiroz will hope to guide his side to the final of the 2021 FIFA Arab Cup, when they face Tunisia in today’s semi-finals. They will take on the Super Eagles in their Group D opener at next year’s AFCON.
