The Minister of Police Affairs, Dr. Mohammad Dingyadi has disclosed that the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) will undergo a series of training on human relations in Abuja, this training is sponsored by the Federal Government of Nigeria.
The theme of the training is ‘Psychological Development, Human Rights, the Rights of the Police, and Conflict Management.
According to the Director of General Services, Mrs. Edenmaya Brayia who represented Dr. Mohammad. the training will focus on human rights, the rights of the police, and conflict management, and the training has commenced across the geo-political zones in the country.
“The training is to help in broadening officers’ perspectives on innovative policing approaches ahead of the 2023 elections”.
Furthermore, he said that the training will aid the Nigerian Police to effectively and efficiently deliver security in the Nation and also equip them for the 2023 elections.
”I, therefore, have no doubt that at the end of this training, you will come out refreshed, reinvigorated, and adequately repositioned for more effective and efficient delivery of your very challenging task of securing the nation and most especially, well equipped to provide adequate security during the 2023 general elections”.
