AKSG reopens Ewet Government Technical College, warns against reoccurrence of violent behaviour amongst students

The commissioner for Education Professor Nse Essien has disclosed that the Government Technical College Ewet has reopened because the state government took pity on innocent students who are suffering due to the bad choices of few bad eggs, but warned that the government will not tolerate a single repeat of the restiveness recorded in the school last month.

Speaking with Planet News today at the school premises, Professor Essien noted that in view of the upcoming exams in the school, it was important to reopen, especially for the sake of the serious ones.

The education commissioner however noted that there are stringent screening procedures that students have to go through to be part of the school again. He noted that the fresh registration for students will also enable the authorities fetch out culprits who fomented trouble in the school.

According to the commissioner, any students of Ewet Government Technical Collegefound guilty of cult activities amongst the arrested ones will be charged to court accordingly, to serve as deterrent to others contemplating bad behaviours.
