As part of efforts to check the spread of the Corona-virus, the Akwa Ibom State government said it has distributed Personal Protective Equipment to all health facilities across the state.

The  State Commissioner for Health,  Dominic Ukpong, who made this known in a statement explained that the government has also begun the screening of passengers at the Victor Attah  International Airport in Uyo.
