David Wagner parts way with Huddersfield Town on mutual consent

David Wagner has left Huddersfield Town as manager by mutual consent with the club bottom of the Premier League.

The German took over as Terriers boss in November 2015 and led them to promotion to the Premier League in 2016-2017 through the Championship play-offs.

ELSEWHERE,  Nigerian midfielder Ifeanyi Ifeanyi has signed a three year deal with Algerian giants, ES Setif.

Ifeanyi who spent two years with the 2017 Aiteo Cup Champions, Akwa United opted against a contract renewal with the Promise Keepers which paved way for him to join the eight-time Algerian Ligue 1 champions.

Es Setif are currently fourth in the Algerian Ligue 1 and will face A Bou Saada in an Algerian Cup clash today.
