Keke Owners and Riders Association bestows award of excellence on Akwa Ibom state commissioner for transport Orman Esin

The Keke Owners and Riders Association – KORA has held its statewide get-together party for tricycle management executives in Akwa Ibom state where KORA bestowed an award of excellence on the commissioner for transport Orman Esin and also passed a vote of confidence on him and his activities within the transport sector of the state.
In his welcome address, KORA President, Comrade Jeremiah Jackson, who doubles as Chairman Tricycle Management Committee Akwa Ibom state, promised to lead a united, fortified, progressive and all-encompassing tricycle sector. He also reiterated commitment to full cooperation with the government for a hitch free relationship, while also expressing the hope of the association for the protection of their interest in the Arise Agenda of Governor Umo Eno.
The event which was under the chairmanship of a former two-term chairman of Uyo local government area and currently the director general of transporters stakeholders council, Maurice Edet, also had the deputy speaker of the Akwa Ibom state House of Assembly Kufreabasi Edidem, in both their speeches, extolling the giant strides of KORA and the many supports the association has freely given to activities of government and welfare of its members over the years.
Responding at the event after receiving his award, the transport commissioner, Orman Esin, vowed to always have the backs of KORA members and tricycle riders, and to work towards fully protecting their interests in all government policies and agendas as they affect the transport sector.
Highlight of the event was the presentation of the award of excellence to the commissioner for Transport Orman Esin and a vote of confidence passed on him to continue his giant strides within the transport sector of the state.
