The board and management of Planet 101.1FM has announced a relief outreach of 5,000 naira each to two hundred select households living below poverty lines, as well as the most vulnerable amongst residents within its host community, as part of its corporate social responsibility to support government in cushioning the effects of COVID-19 on the standard of living of citizens.
In a release signed by chairman and CEO Planet 101.1FM, Tony Afia, the outreach is intended to support hundred households who meet the criteria in Ibiaku Uruan, sixty in Utit Uruan and fourty in Emman Uruan.
The release further notes that date for the disbursements is Monday 20th April 2020, at the Planet FM transmission station Ibiaku Uruan by 10am.
Village heads and community leaders are expected to assist in the selection and verification of target beneficiaries, just as the release stresses that government directive on social distancing will be strictly observed.
