President Bola Tinubu has expressed deep condolences to the families of victims and to the management and staff of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, and a commercial Bank following the fire outbreak at Afriland Building in Lagos.
In a statement signed by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu commiserated with FIRS and a commercial Bank over the loss of lives and extended sympathy to those injured, who are receiving medical attention.
The President commended the emergency responders, including the Federal Fire Service, first aiders, medical personnel, and members of the public, for the quick intervention, noting their deep sense of responsibility during the evacuation.
