The Rugby League World Cup is set to take place as scheduled in England this autumn after participation agreements were signed by competing nations.
Reports say organizers have been working with the government and authorities to stage the event in October and November, adding that there were issues regarding Covid regulations and quarantine rules for players and staff travelling back to Australia and New Zealand.
STILL IN SPORTS; Wolves are set to sell keeper Rui Patricio to Roma and bring in Jose Sa from Olympiakos as his replacement.
It is understood that Portugal international Patricio, who has one year left on his Wolves deal, will join Roma for 10 million pounds.
Meanwhile Sa has been cleared to join Wolves after Olympiakos reached an agreement with Czech Republic keeper Tomas Vaclik.
