Reigning English Premier League champions Manchester City have beaten Japanese club Urawa Red Diamonds 3-0, to reach the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup final.

City dominated the match from the very beginning but could not score until the 46th minute, when Urawa Red Diamonds’ Norwegian defender Marius Hoibraten put the ball into his own net.

Man City’s Croatian midfielder Mateo Kovacic made it 2-0 in the 52nd minute. Then just seven minutes later, its Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Silva scored the third goal.

Manchester City will take on Brazilian club Fluminense in the final on Friday as they seek to bag their maiden FIFA Club World Cup trophy, while Urawa Red Diamonds will face Egyptian side Al Ahly in the third place match the same day.
