President Bola Tinubu has dismissed Chief Executive Officer of Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission ,FCCPC, Babatunde Irukera as well as the Director-General and CEO, Bureau of Public Enterprises, BPE, Alexander Okoh.
The two dismissed Chief Executive were directed to hand over to the next most senior officer in their respective agencies, pending the appointment of new Chief Executive Officers.
Presidential spokesman Ajuri Ngelale disclosed this in a statement, said the dismissal of Babatunde Irukera as the FCCPC Chief Executive Officer and Alexander Okoh of BPE is part of restructuring moves adding that the removal from office takes immediate effect.
