The Minister of Defence, Mohammed Abubakar, has assured officers and men of the Armed Forces of President Bola Tinubu’s administration’s commitment to equipping and training them to enhance combat readiness against insurgency and terrorism.
In a statement sourced from the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation’s X account, the minister stated this when he visited the military operations theatre in Katsina
Addressing Operation Hadarin Daji at the 213 Forward Operating Base, Katsina, the Minister acknowledged President Tinubu’s significant successes in the fight against insurgency and related crimes.
According to the statement, he urged the troops to continue the fight against insurgency and banditry, commending their sacrifices and commitment.
Regarding the recent incident involving the killing of soldiers in Abia State, the Minister reassured the government’s determination to bring the perpetrators to justice and prevent such incidents from happening again.
