Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has expressed the solidarity of the people of the State with Nigeria’s national team, the Super Eagles, assuring them of safety and hospitality in the state, while psyching players to victory in their Sunday encounter against the Sao Tomé and Principé side.
Addressing the Super Eagles contingent at Four Point by Sheraton Hotel, Ikot Ekpene, where he paid a solidarity to them in camp ahead of the Sunday evening encounter against the Sao Tomé team in the AFCON Qualifiers, Governor Eno welcomed the team to the peaceful and hospitable ambience of the state and assured them of security and safety.
Governor Eno congratulated the players for making it to the national team and encouraged them to play their best to make the country proud and assured that he will continue to show solidarity with her team throughout their stay, even during the game.
