To better the educational system in the state, Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno has restated his administration’s resolve to ensure that the quality of teachers are up to par with modern standards, as he joined Akwa Ibom children to celebrate children’s day at the Uyo Township Stadium, Uyo.
Speaking on the theme of this year’s Children’s Day Celebration, “Enhancing the Total Well Being of the Nigerian Child through quality education and skills development”, Governor Eno stated that the theme was apt and timely as it mirrors his ARISE Agenda’s Vision as seen in the establishment of the CKS Model Primary School, with 20 more to be replicated all over the state and the establishment of the Dakkada Skills Acquisition Centre, designed to produce highly skilled students across the state.
