The All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed Yobe State Governor, (Dr.) Mai Buni as Secretary of the Central Coordination Committee for the party’s 2026 National Convention.
The 73-member high-powered committee was constituted by the APC National Working Committee (NWC) to oversee preparations for the crucial national convention that will shape the party’s future direction.
Meanwhile, the Governor of Imo State and Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF), Hope Uzodimma was named Chairman of the committee, while Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq will serve as Vice Chairman.
The establishment of the Central Coordination Committee marks the formal commencement of preparations for the 2026 National Convention, a landmark event expected to define the APC’s leadership structure and strategic outlook ahead of future electoral contests.
