Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, yesterday, visited the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on the occasion of the Sallah celebration.
The spokesperson for the First Lady, Busola Kukoyi, made this known in a post alongside a photo of both leaders via her X handle. The former president was said to have come on the visit to felicitate the wife of the President in Lagos.
Obasanjo had on May 27 knocked the Tinubu administration over the poor implementation of the removal of the fuel subsidy as well as the floating of the naira. The former President said though the policies were necessary, they were wrongly implemented.
According to a statement made available to journalists by his Special Assistant on Media, Kehinde Akinyemi, Obasanjo also condemned Nigeria’s approach to the coup in the Republic of Niger.
