World Cup Qualifiers: 13 Super Eagles Players Report to Camp

The number of players in the Super Eagles’ camp has risen to 13 as Nigeria steps up preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa.

Team media officer Promise Efoghe confirmed that nine new arrivals checked into camp in Ikot Ekpene on Tuesday, including Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Ola Aina, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Moses Simon, Chidozie Awaziem, Adebayo Adeleye, and Benjamin Fredericks.

They joined the quartet of William Troost-Ekong, Amas Obasogie, Felix Agu, and Raphael Onyedika, who had reported on Monday.

Efoghe told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that 23 players were invited for the double-header, with 10 still expected in camp by late Tuesday or early Wednesday.

He also outlined the team’s upcoming media engagements as the squad continues final preparations.
