Former President Goodluck Jonathan has commissioned the 1.3 kilometres, 8 metres deep underground flood control tunnel along Atiku Abubakar road drainage, reconstruction of a section of Atiku Abubakar with street light and reconstruction of Afaha Ube street in Uyo.
Speaking at the event, the former president commended Governor Umo Eno for intervening in the flood condition of the area which he said will positively affect the lives of the people living in the area and also promote the economic activities of the area.
According to him, within one year, the state governor has shown clear focus on his plans and programmes for the people, calling on Akwa Ibom people to support Governor Eno to succeed.
